So how is this paid for?
Two things: advertising on our articles and guides — the pages you're reading right now — and Pro subscriptions from teams running links at volume. Between them they fund the links, the analytics and the servers for everybody on the free plan.
Which means some firm promises about where ads will never appear:
- Never on your short links. No countdown timers, no "click to continue" pages, no interstitials. Your links redirect instantly, exactly as they should.
- Never in your dashboard. Your analytics stay clean.
- Never sold visitor data. We hash visitor IPs before they touch our database and we don't run third-party trackers on your audience.
We said that if a paid tier ever arrived it would be for genuinely heavy commercial use — bigger teams, more domains, higher API limits — and that the free features would stay free. Pro is that tier, and we kept the second half of the promise: nothing was moved out of the free plan to create it. Compare the list above against any earlier version of this page.
Fair questions
What's the catch? +
There isn't a hidden one. We make money from ads on our guides and from Pro subscriptions by teams who need more capacity than the free ceilings allow. If you never hit those ceilings, you never pay, and nothing degrades.
Will you start charging later and lock my links? +
No, and Pro didn't change that. Your links, your full analytics history and CSV export stay free and stay yours. Pro adds headroom — more domains, more seats, a higher API rate — it doesn't take anything away. Building an audience on a tool that later holds it hostage is exactly what we built LinkForge to avoid.
Why is the Nigerian price so much lower? +
Because it's priced for the market rather than converted from dollars. Comparable plans elsewhere run ₦28,000 a month and up, which isn't a real option for most Nigerian businesses. ₦2,500 is, and Paystack handles it in naira.
Are there really no click limits? +
None. Unlimited links and unlimited clicks, with full analytics history — not the 30-day window most free plans give you.
How can I support the project? +
Don't block ads on our articles, share a guide that helped you, and tell people the tool exists. That's genuinely enough.
